General Notes: We used to use regular tap water for our betta fish and they kept getting sick and dying one after the other. For a while we bought special bottled water for bettas but that cost a lot of money and only seemed to marginally improve health conditions. We bought our Kangen Water™ machine for ourselves and then one day decided to try it out with our current betta fish, Buddy. He was already sick with several types of fungal infection and had just developed popeye.

Knowing that betta fish need slightly acidic water we were able to use the machine to produce a mixture of 7.0 (neutral) and 5.5 (beauty water) to make our own slightly acidic mixture. The fish loved it! We slowly introduced him to the new water and within minutes there were small air bubbles all over his body where the fungus was. When we woke up the next morning the fungus was gone! His popeye also went away! He was zipping around the aquarium again just like when we first got him.

Now we can make as much water as we want, and change the tank as often as we want! No more expensive bottled water for fish and we get multiple uses out of a machine we already love for ourselves. The healing benefits and possibilities of a Kangen Water™ machine aren't just limited to the alkaline uses! It's truly amazing.

Freddie is a guinea pig that was rescued from an LA county Animal shelter 4 years ago.  He was suffering from a vitamin C deficiency called scurvy.  Because Guinea pigs (Cavies), like humans, do not manufacture their own vitamin C, they are susceptible to scurvy, as were the sailors several centuries ago.  Scurvy is debilitating in that it affects all of the organs in the body and especially the heart. 

As a result of this degenerative process, Freddie is suffering from severe congestive heart failure. Although he receives human heart medications daily, his health has been failing over the past year.  He was at the point this August (2009) where he could no longer use his hind legs and spent most of the time lying in his house.  He was so incapacitated and had so little energy that I had to hand feed him both food and water several times daily, as he was incapable of getting it himself.

Two weeks ago (late August 2009), a friend brought me some 8.5pH Kangen Water™ to give to Freddie with the hope that it could in some way help him. He drank it and immediately I saw a difference. Day by day, he has made a "miraculous" recovery and, in this short period of time, now walks over to his food and drinks out of the water bottle dispenser with Kangen Water™ in it.  His quality of life has improved tremendously and I thoroughly expect that his condition will be better as he drinks more of this powerful healing liquid.
